CASE FILE // Exhibit A
Calm escalation

If the letter fails.

You never need to threaten. You just proceed, in order, with your evidence pack attached at every stage. Your Case Manager can draft each of these too.

Step 1

One follow-up

Cite your deadline. Request the individual decline reason for each numbered claim. Nothing else; each round should be shorter and sharper than the last.

Step 2

Your consumer regulator

United StatesFTC report (reportfraud.ftc.gov) and your state Attorney General.
United KingdomCitizens Advice / CMA.
European UnionYour national consumer authority and the ODR platform.
AustraliaACCC and your state consumer affairs body.
ElsewhereYour national consumer protection agency.

Regulator complaints are quick to file with a prepared evidence pack, and providers answer them differently than they answer you.

Step 3

Card dispute / chargeback

Through your bank, with the evidence pack attached. A documented, numbered case built on the provider's own records is exactly what chargeback review teams want to see. It is what the pack was built for.

Keep it factual at every stage. The moment you exaggerate one claim, you hand them a reason to dismiss all of them. An accurate modest case beats an inflated dismissible one, every time.
